(They/Them) Alyssa is queer creative, reader, and activist from San Diego, California. Professionally, they are a student completing their BA in English with work experience in bookselling, event coordination, elementary education, and editing. Personally, they are a new cat parent of two who is working on building their personal library, lighting all the candles in their home, and decorating their walls with vintage ephemera.

Lucy (she/her) grew up in a book-loving and bilingual household, so she had no choice but to become a reader and a pedant. She is also an avid fan of narrative fiction podcasts, monster theory, and all things Gothic, but those parts were voluntary. Lucy has an MA in English from San Diego State University and works at a small publishing house, and is (unfortunately) happiest when working on an overcomplicated craft project.

(She/Her) Cecilia is a recent graduate from San Diego State University with a degree in English and Comparative Literature with an emphasis in Poetry. Her friends like to say she’s some kind of goblin. She’s passionate about body horror, collecting small objects, and drinking good coffee. When she’s not found writing, you can find her wandering around bookstores and communing with the birds.

Micah Sample (he/him) is a queer and trans writer and creative from Fort Collins, Colorado. Having received his Bachelor’s of Arts in creative writing, he is in the early stages of pursuing a career in the vast world of publishing. By days, he soaks up sunshine, books, unique storytelling, and the love of his cat, Mabel. By nights, he is a humble line cook who comes home smelling like pizza and falls asleep with his partner to YouTube gameplays. He writes poetry about religion, transitioning, and love whenever he can.

Tiana holds a BA in English and Linguistics and is currently completing her MA in English Literary Studies at her alma mater — University of York, UK. She's got a propensity for all things literary and academic, with an unusual interest in ballet scores. She's rather fond of her ever-growing library, gifted at philosophising — as her mother terms it — and above all else, enjoys a good cup of coffee. If you don't find her at her desk, she's probably fallen off of the face of the earth.

(She/They) Passionate about horror movies, her cats and music— Josie is a queer San Diego local and activist. With a BA in Linguistics from UC Santa Barbara, they have a special interest in languages and the way they shape media. She has professional experience in social media management and photography, and a personal interest in doom scrolling through TikTok daily.
