A Small Collection of Human Experiences - Cleo Enrique-Hubbard

Stand at the edge of the world

Taunt the waves before they come at you, screaming

Grind the salt between your teeth

Feel the ground rush

Grasping at your ankles

Dragging you closer

Tempt fate as it crashes against the rocks Eating the words before they leave your mouth

Wake so early the birds whisper

freak of nature.

See the world at its rawest.

Kiss the moon goodmorning

And lay the stars down to sleep.
