AMURAKILLS is a traditional artist working primarily in oils. She derives inspiration from Gothic, Baroque, and Romantic art. Together with literary influences, her body of work reflects on the fragility of the human condition and societal critiques. Her depicted figures are frequently friends within marginalized communities as a means to counter historical erasure. In her devotion to studying the fine arts, she has spent time in museums worldwide, sketching historical works and experiencing diverse cultural art practices. Follow her current journey exhibiting in Tokyo and developing a new series inspired by classic Gothic literature, including Frankenstein.
